The Kowalski family has been running Starlite Lanes since 1968, and we are proud to still be Rapid City's spot for league bowling, birthday parties, and a burger basket that won't let you down. 24 lanes, automatic scoring, bumpers for the little ones, and the best broasted chicken in the Black Hills (Thursdays, see below).

Leagues are the heart of this place and always have been. Whether you average 220 or you have never kept score in your life, there is a league for you. League meetings start the week of Aug 24. New bowlers ALWAYS welcome, we mean it.

League fees vary by league, most run $14-$17 per week including lineage. Ask at the desk for a flyer or call (605) 555-0122 and ask for Deb.
Open bowling is available any time lanes are not reserved for leagues or tournaments. Fridays and Saturdays fill up fast after 7pm, so call ahead if you have a big group.

Friday & Saturday nights, 9:30pm to close. We shut the house lights off, crank the music, and turn on the blacklights and the fog machine (when it cooperates). White shirts glow, pins glow, and it is a completely different building in there.

Cosmic is popular with the high school crowd. Parents, we keep an eye on things and the snack bar stays open until midnight.
We have hosted thousands of birthday parties over the years and we have it down to a science. Two packages:

Full grill, cold beer for the grown-ups, and the item people drive across town for:
Thursdays only. Four pieces of our famous broasted chicken, comes with jojos, coleslaw, and a roll. We start serving at 4:30pm. Get here before 6 or it's gone. We are not kidding, ask anybody.

Kitchen closes one hour before the building does. Kitchen stays open until midnight on cosmic nights.
Starlite Pro Shop is open Tuesday through Saturday, noon to 8pm. We do drilling, plug and re-drill, resurfacing, and thumb slugs, and we stock balls, bags, and shoes from the major brands. Gary has been drilling balls for 31 years and he will not sell you equipment you don't need. Bring your ball in and he will tell you straight whether it needs resurfacing or you just need to move two boards left. League members get 10% off drilling.
